Our Mission
The Local Clean Water Initiative works for the rights of each community to have safe, clean, and sustainable water supplies. The mission is to protect and improve water quality, enhance environmental stewardship and awareness of water-related issues, and develop and put into place innovative solutions that are required because of water shortage, contamination, and waste. We empower local communities and build partnerships with other organizations that facilitate and increase awareness about essential policies and rules for clean water.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where clean water is accessible to all people, and natural water ecosystems are preserved for generations to come. We envision communities that manage water in a sustainable way, are resilient to environmental stresses, and are invested in the health of their local water resources. We nurture a future where water is a common and treasured resource, protected for the benefit of human health and the environment through education, collaboration, and action.
